A Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate provides an insight into the energy performance of a dwelling/building. The assessment calculates the energy required for space heating, ventilation, water heating and lighting, less the savings from renewable energy generation technologies.
The certificate will provide annual values for delivered energy consumption, primary energy consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and costs.
About Building Energy Rating
The BER label can only be produced by an independent BER assessor who is qualified and registered as an Energy Professional with Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) – Ireland’s national energy agency.
In addition to the certificate, a detailed advisory report will be issued as well. This report outlines how a building can be improved in order to reach a higher rating.
Carrying out a home energy assessment is the first step in highlighting problems and suggesting solutions to these problems.
Warm n’Cosy is happy to arrange a BER assessment for you. For further information on BER please go to SEAI Building Energy Rating. We are happy to provide our quality services throughout Roscommon, Westmeath, Mayo, Leitrim and Dublin area.
